Do Skeletal Muscles Work in Antagonistic Pairs?

Antagonistic pair function

All muscles can pull on bones. The bone is caused by contraction. Contraction doesn’t push on bones. For a bone even a muscle which performs the action, or an muscle, needs to contract and then pull on the bone in its way. Is known as the agonist, while the muscle that produces the motion that was reverse is that the antagonist. The biceps and triceps are a good illustration of two muscles which function within an pair.
